Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Overview
PeptideTracker Pro is a personal dose logging and protocol management tool for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
Data we collect
Device identifier. When you first open the app, a random device ID is generated and stored on your device. This ID is used to associate your data with your device — no name, email address, or personal identity is required to use the app.
Health and tracking data you enter. This includes peptide protocols, dose logs, body measurements, lab results, progress photos, strength logs, and journal entries. This data is transmitted to our servers to enable syncing and backup, and is stored with the database host described under “How your data is stored” below. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never share it with any other third party — with one exception: if you use the AI features and consent to the disclosure, portions of it are sent to Anthropic as described under “Third-party AI” below.
Sign in with Apple (optional). If you sign in with Apple, we store the unique Apple user identifier Apple provides, an email address, and the name Apple returns if you elect to share it. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email option, the address we store is the anonymous relay address Apple generates rather than your real one; if Apple returns no address at all — which is normal on sign-ins after the first — we generate and store a placeholder address derived from your Apple user identifier. Signing in links your Apple identifier to your existing device account so your data carries across devices.
Purchase information. If you upgrade to Pro, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, processes your purchase receipt to activate your subscription. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status but never see your card number or billing details.
Motion and activity (optional). If you grant motion permission, the app reads your step count on-device to show daily activity and estimated calories. Step data is processed on your device.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your phone number, location, or contacts. Apart from what Sign in with Apple provides, as described above, we do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information unless you choose to provide it. We do not run advertising or sell your data to third parties.
How your data is stored
Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (neon.tech) in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. If you have not signed in with Apple, your device ID is the only key linking your data to you; if you have, the Apple user identifier and email address described above are stored alongside it and can also be used to look up your account.
Third-party AI (Anthropic)
Some features send data to Anthropic, PBC (“Claude”), a third-party artificial-intelligence provider located in the United States, in order to generate a response. These features are the AI Assistant, the vial-label scanner, and the workout-plan scanner.
What is sent. This depends on the feature: (a) the text you type into the AI Assistant; (b) for the Analyze and Progress features, a summary of your logged tracking data such as doses, measurements, and lab results; and (c) for the scanners, the photo or document you capture. We do not send your name, email address, or account identifiers.
Your consent. Before any data is sent to Anthropic, the app shows a disclosure that names Anthropic and describes what will be shared, and asks for your permission. You can decline, and these features will not send your data.
How it is handled. We do not store AI conversation history on our servers. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy commitments and, per its commercial API terms, does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. Anthropic provides data protection equivalent to that described in this policy. See Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open Profile, tap Delete my account, and confirm. This removes all of your records from our servers. You may also email us at the address below to request deletion, and we will permanently delete your records within 30 days.
Children
PeptideTracker Pro is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
